This place!! We went to 5 other wineries in the area and absolutely nothing compared to the experience we had here. We spent time talking with the co-owner Harvey who shared great stories of the local area and his passion for the wine he makes with his wife. When all other places seem so industrialized, this winery truly made it feel like the Lake Erie excursion we were looking for. We made sure to leave with a few bottles of the Dockside, a group favourite!! 5/5

Brand New Wine!
Blanc de Noir
With this vintage we borrowed a technique from Champagne France known as Blanc de Noir. This uses red grapes and processes them into white wine, which does require unique climatic conditions and fermenting without skin contact.
The result is a full bodied wine with steely acidity.

Lake Erie is home to its own little cottage country here in Windsor-Essex. Talcott, meaning cottage by the lake, embodies this warm, friendly, fun atmosphere.
This smooth fruity, deep red wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Baco Noir. Its prominent cherry flavours, raspberry/jammy undertones and satin-silk mouthfeel pair best with poultry, fish and lamb.
