Named after its breeder, this grape is a St. Laurent - Blaufränkisch cross. The wine produced is similar to Pinot Noir - Shiraz, being a lighter, dry red wine, with good acidity, soft tannins, and cherry/clove flavours. It has a persistent, pepper and plum finish, and is dark ruby in colour.
